Feral Cat Program:
overcrowding, we are happy to provide an option for those of you who
wish to have a cat for your outdoor area (barn, garage, cabin, etc.).
We can and will provide a cat who has been spayed or neutered, and
current on vaccinations for you at no cost. It will become your
responsibility to ensure the cat receives it's future vaccinations, and we
can help you with ideas on how to make this process as easy as possible.
People who qualify for this program must live outside residential areas,
and provide verifiable identification, and agree that the cat will not be
brought into residential areas to live. We also ask that you will be
providing a safe area for the cat, where it can escape from the elements,
and be warm in winter, and cool in summer. The cat must also be provided
with easy access to a food and water supply year round.
We do always accept donations for any cat you bring home using this
program, but our hopes are that the cat will be relieved of the stress of
being in the shelter environment and give it a chance to be "free" again
and enjoy doing what cats do best, keeping their area free of rodents,
basking in the sun, and providing family entertainment.
