Educational Programs The MHS educational programs show’s the general public that you must speak up for the welfare of animals rather than accept the mistreatment being conducted in society today. Our programs introduce the community to the numerous responsibilities, cost and time commitment associated with the caring of their furry buddies, whether it is a small loveable puppy/kitten or the grown dog/cat. Our staff explains to the public the need for such programs as Spay & Neutering and Micro-chipping. They also teach that kindness and love instead of starvation and physical abuse will provide you with a friend for life. This kind of education builds character and will eventually lead to a more humane and law-abiding society. Ultimately, many people will become the much needed volunteers, animal owners and/or supporters of MHS. |
