If your pet(s) were lost, you would want him or her to have a ticket home. Bring your pet to Mesabi Humane Society and your pet can be micro-chipped and registered in a national recovery service database. Although collar tags are an easy and inexpensive way to identify lost pets, they can easily come off or be removed. Would not you rather have the peace of mind knowing that your pet has a permanent form of identification, a microchip with a unique number that cannot be altered? The MHS Micro-Chip service is available throughout the year. The cost is $40.00 which includes the registration fee in the national recovery service database. The same service would cost about $75.00 if it were done at a veterinary clinic. One in three pets will get lost during their lifetime.
